Dear Ocean Ridge Resident / Property owner,

We are requesting your signature on a petition affirming your support for the current Ocean Ridge Board of Directors and their ability to make decisions regarding the proposed amenity center. The transparency and credibility of the Board has been questioned by some in their passion to oppose the new amenity center. We need your support for the great and tireless job they have been doing!

Ocean Ridge Plantation has always been known as an active lifestyle community. We need to continue to meet the lifestyle needs of our community as we experience unprecedented growth. Other communities are investing in their future and we will be left behind if we stagnate. Our current amenities, while very much in line with residents' interests, have placed limitations on social interaction. We have a Board that we rely on to represent the best interests of the Community. We fully support the planned investments in enhanced amenities and ask that the Board move forward expeditiously.

Please sign your support.

Thank you!

OR needs new and improved amenities, and the board is headed in the right direction. If we have to vote as a community every time we try to make improvements, OR will be just like congress. Don't need that!

Moving forward with an amenity center is good and both my wife and I support it. However the "Bistro" aspect of the concept puts the HOA in the food and beverage business. Don't believe that we should do this. Questions and concerns have been forwarded to the HOA in a separate email.

I fully support the new amenity center, but costs should be closely monitored since overruns are common. The Board should be doing more to collect the fees due to ORMA that are in Coastal's pocket. Could help defray some of the costs.

This is a "must have" for the community since we've already outgrown the existing facility and there's plenty of new construction underway. It will also help raise property values. This was supposed to have been done by the developer, but it's better if the community owns and manages it.

This community needs to move forward. The increase in HOA dues would amount to but $2.45/day. Not a great amount to keep this a premier community. Or we can match the developers minimum "standards" and putting little or nothing into improvements.

I thank the board for their efforts for volunteering for a thankless job. I look forward to additional parking at the beach, a bistro/restaurant where we can meet friends and make new ones over a great food and drink and a lovely safe space to walk and ride bikes.

1I did not sign this petition and in fact signed the other one. I am currently not for or against the new amenities center. I have to note that with all the beautiful blown up posters at the presentation the Board did not blow up the survey results which indicated that over 60% responded they would be willing to spend from zero to $300 additional in their dues. The current amount is over $700 a year. Ironically, 3 Board members, including the President who pushed heavily for this project have moved out of Ocean Ridge. In addition, the current Board was not elected with I believe 4 members appointed including the President. Why is everyone afraid to allow a vote of the property owners??? Lets just have a vote.

I don't need to say anything more than this which is an opinion I fully support. Thank You John Comparetto
