Hoag Property Management Company asked their tenants at three different buildings in La Reina Avenue in the city of Downey to removed the Air Conditioners on their windows.

This rental management company authorized their tenants to installed A/C units in the bedrooms. The tenants bought the units and paid the installation. On July 1st we received a 30-day notice asking us to remove the units because the owner doesn't like how the units look. They told us to buy the portable A/C units that are really expensive and most of us can not afford. The apartments don't have insulation and the sun is hitting them all day long, the apartments get really hot in summer time.

We called the contact person at Hoag, Lilian Pineda that looks very well after the owner's interest and is insensitive of the needs of the tenants and told her to asked the owners to let us keep the A/C units until the end of summer and she didn't try, she just said NO, we must remove them.
