I really never expected this much energy behind the issue because it is just so exhausting sometimes (honestly I have been drinking way too much coffee today) but seeing everyone rally for the teachers is actually giving me goosebumps. Please just make sure you click that new link I posted because the old site had that weird glitch and I would absolutely hate for your support to get lost in the digital void.

We cannot keep teachers, if they are not paid a living wage and paid medical plans. Use the funds for staff, not computers and upgrades. Children deserve qualified and caring staff. For over 30 years, it is the same story "no funds for staff".
You can solve this problem with a new goal of giving the staff a living wage.

I worked for BUSD from 1998 to 2015. I made very little and was layed off after 14 years at Liberty. I know what teachers in this district have to deal with. My daughter taught 1 year in this district and then went to Dublin. Take better care of your teachers district. They're the ones doing the day to day work that makes you look good. Right now dostrict, you're lookin pretty shabby.

Please show our teachers that they are valued. Teachers work copiously outside of school hours, sacrificing their nights and weekends to their students, and bring home a paltry salary. Please show our teachers that their hard work in our community to enrich the lives of our young people matters.
