Our teachers are receiving inadequate pay, and unfair treatment from the LUHSD school district. This petition is to show our unanimous support for the fair treatment of our teachers!
Our teacher pour out all their love time and patience on students. We need to pour a decent living wage into their pockets for all they had to do to get to a point that they could educate us and continue to desire teaching. No one wants someone in this field who does not want to participate and engage with students, but that just might be what happens if districts cannot get their acts together.

Middle eastern council member here; we can’t uphold any meetings. Retaking tests and getting extra help is bear impossible now. Bring justice to our underpaid teachers and staff!!

The current pay scale sends a message to students and families that you can have all the degrees and credentials and more, but you'll never get paid a salary that reflects your hard work and commitment. People can't support their households on passion for their work.

For the sake of our clubs and the livelihood of all hardworking teachers and administrators in the district, give them a proportionately equal pay and a liveable wage

Our teachers deserve adequate payment for their dedication and hours of hard work not merely words of appreciation. Put simply, time is money. Teachers invest a lot of time in us students to help us thrive in a competitive and challenging environment—it’s not easy by any means—they must be paid proportionally to their great efforts. It is only just.
