Hello everyone from Enfield and surrounding areas. My name is Alex Gould and I am making this Petition in favor of keeping the Enfield Meets continuing.
When I started these meets 2 years back it started with just me and a couple of my friends. I found the meets as an escape from problems at home, school, work, ect. I love cars, as I'm sure a lot of other people do and that's what we like to do in our spare time. I feel like the meets aren't hurting anybody and its a lot better then causing trouble vandalizing, or doing drugs. As long as nobody hurts anybody it should be fine. On the flip side I do understand the people's side who are worried about the stupid drivers around town. I try to control that and will continue to do so. All this was meant for is getting people of the same interest together to have a good time, cause as we all know, Enfield doesn't have much to offer. We have people on Facebook who were commenting on my post waiting to receive connect with old friends. This Night just gives people of Enfield something to look forward to. We have people from young to old, even bringing their young kids out to show them all the cool cars. I feel like the meet is good for the town and really will bring the community together and help boost business to local food stops. So that being said. If your into cars come out next Sunday. And to everyone who is against it just think about it as a hobby for us instead of doing something that's actually "bad". Thank you for your support

I really never imagined this many people would care about our car meets. Seeing a thousand signatures is completely overwhelming and this is honestly entirely down to your support. Thank you for showing that our little hobby means something to the community.

This is great for the town. It brings customers to town, it gives the kids something to do and on a Sunday night most of the businesses are closed anyway. Also if all the kids are in one place it is easier to keep an eye on them.
I attended this last week was a great turnout the police were very nice and even walked around and checked out the cars there was a bunch of muscle cars along with imports and also exotic....so there was something for everyone to see
I am a married mother of 5 kids, and think that this is a great way for people with similar interests to get together in a positive fashion. I plan on attending myself, and even possibly bringing my older kids!
As an auto body technician and mechanic and all around car guy love to see everyone's pride and joy and different and new things. Love to teach my kids that with a little imagination and hard work you can have anything you want.
We used to cruise in the 80s where Levitz used to be (near McDonald's ) never any trouble, everyone had a great time until the busybodies made us stop. We need this for young and old to get together and enjoy their hobby. Not to mention, also a history lesson!

These huge car meets in Enfield are loud, dangerou you can smell a heavy odour of cannabis and dealing is highly likely from the activity going on. The impact on our life's is that it keeps us awake, during the early hours of the morning on a regular basis and makes thw area unsafe for normal hardworking residents.

As long as people are having fun and behaving I think it's great! My dad grew up in Enfield and always talks about how they would do the same thing. It built friendships and a sense of community. Glad to see you are trying to be respectful and do it right, too!
