We are looking to present to council how many people in this great community want the Melbourne drift trikes to keep going.
Council are going to be reviewing our case shortly and need as much community support as possible.
We the Melbourne drift trikes are non for profit sporting club with our own public liability insurance. We are a family friendly group with ages ranging from 4 years of age up to 50 years of age, we ride drift trikes down the hills on pakenham rd adjacent to the cardinia grove estate. The estate that has no houses built in it.
We isolate the roads we ride from vehicles and do working bees to clean the area of illegally dumped rubbish. Riding on the hills keeps us from riding on the public roads that the wider community use.
We slide on Friday nights from 6pm until 11:30pm and Sunday nights from 4pm until 10:30pm.
we welcome all visitors and hope you will support our cause.

We are currently moving toward the one hundred signature mark to establish our baseline credibility for the upcoming council review. Direct this petition to local residents who use Pakenham Road so we can demonstrate widespread community backing before we submit our formal proposal.

I live opposite the site and you have made it a safer place for me to walk my dogs by cleaning up the area and keeping the sum bags away. It has given people somewhere to enjoy a sport their sport safely. Thank you keep up the good work
im very local to the roads this group use and have watched with great interest. They seem very organised and well educated regarding safety for themselves and the surrounding public. It's good to see some good old fashioned outdoor entertainment for all ages and skill, and economic status
Live on the other side of the hill, have no issues with this I think that it's good that the area is been put to use I a good way, if no one was using this area I believe it would invite use of the area by other not so nice and caring people of the community!!
Bring the kids out into their community. Give them a part of their local area that they can take pride in and participate in. The youth of your municipality are speaking to you the only way they know how. Let's take a moment to listen to them..
I travel 1:20 on a good day to get to this location because we can participate in a safe and fun atmosphere in a community that just want to go sliding
let them have there fun.
I am a rate payer and a father. I much rather young people do this than on ice and committing crime.

I am one of the drifters that drifts at the pakenham hill I started drifting in August 2014 and ever since fell in love with the sport and tyres not to miss one slide night or day until now. I am really surprised and appreciative of all the support we have got and like to thank our community :)
