Mr. Lascot, where do I start- you’ve been there for me since grade 10. Supported me, pushed me to always do my best and I’m very upset that the board will not be hiring you full time. It sucks, especially because you’ve been there for the art students and those that started highschool with you as their teacher. I really hope Mr. Caslick / the board reconsider this, you make up the school, you are literally the light of the school. I really wish you could stay, and it’s apparent that others wish so as well
Mr. Lascot is a great teache rand he’s done so much for the general arts program! He’s very fun to have around and is an arts teacher who genuinely loves to help others improve. It would be a great loss to the school and to our arts program if he were to leave.
Mr. Lascot is always so supportive of anything I do in his class. And I want to thank him for leading me in the right direction with my portfolio.
Mr. Lascot is constantly making valuable contributions to the arts at LP. He encourages creativity and fosters a passion for the arts within all of his students. He goes out of his way to help other sections of the arts as well, helping make banners for concerts put on by the music department, and props for the school musical. To remove a teacher who means so much to his students and does so much for the school simply because he does not have the seniority to hold the position is ridiculous. I hope that the board and administration within the school reconsider this decision so that such a dedicated teacher can remain at this school and continue to do what he loves.
Mr.lascot is by far the most amazing teacher ive had at lorne park secondary, he goes out of his way to help students and make sure that you only excell in his classes. I believe he should remain at lorne park to keep on helping students grow and learn.

Have him for careers- super cool teacher, fun, interactive. I think he should stay and teach careers if the art department doesn’t have any openings
