Struzick Road and 191st Street have flooded numerous times this year alone trapping 45-50 adults and children in and out. This poses a huge health trap for any family with family members who have health conditions. Back in November of 2001 the county voted and approved to raise the level of Struzick Road to where the road would never flood again. Those who voted and approved at that time where; Gene Molendorp as Presiding Commisioner, Jim Meara as North Commisioner, Jon Seabaugh as South Commisioner, and Gary Mallory as County Clerk. In the event of a medical emergency there is no way to get an emergency vehicle through 3 to 4 feet of water, causing families to loose valuable time waiting for lifeflight to land then reach them, time that could mean life or death. There are also 100\'s of valuable livestock and animals traped as well, veternarians could be needed at any given minute, if the road is flooded there is no way to give the animal the medical treatment it deserves by law.
