We the people of Kentuck Fork Road and the people of 4 mile creek Branchland, West Virginia are tired of being blocked by high water !
The people on Kentuck Fork are completely blocked from everything our jobs, schools, doctors etc most importantly emergency services, there is no way in or out when the water is high ! The people that live on past Kentuck Fork on 4 mile do have some options of going around though Wanye co. But still if they were in need of EMS, Fire department, police etc they would be a major delay to get help !
We are signing this petition in the hopes that our state/ government will help and lead the way in getting the creek cleaned/ dug out and 4 mile road built up so that this is no longer a issue!
This petition will be sent to our local Division of Highways, Governor Jim Justice office , Greg A. Butcher ,Jeff Eldridge, Evan Jenkins, Zack Maynard, Tony Paynte , and the State office of Highways
The momentum is building fast. It is clear that we are all tired of being trapped by the water.

This problem has caused the people on this road countless days of work and when a medical emergency happens, EMS cannot get to the residents.

For as long as I can remember when have been flooded in up here on 4 Mile each time it rains a bit. As Brandon stated when it does there is no way in or out for ourselves emergency workers etc etc. It’s past time actually something is done with this problem.

My in laws and several family members live up Kentuck fork and this has been an issues for years! They have had to stay in a hotel or with relatives to be able to keep going to work. By raising this road would dramatically change the lives of the people of this area.

Seems to me that after a life time with this issue of high water that something could have been done by now.

This road has been like this fir years, it needs raised so many people doesn't have to deal with trying to go around for miles just to get to work or even to the store. The roads to low and needs raised so this doesn't happen every time it rains.

Something needs done ASAP. Should've been done years ago.
