The traffic crash barrier on the corner of Kingsway at the Canwick Road and South Park Avenue Junction Lincoln did not prevent a 2 tonne car from crashing down 9 feet into the gardens beneath, destroying everything in its path. It was extremely fortunate that no one was killed.
Lincolnshire County Council say a stronger crash barrier is not required because no one was killed! However, we do not agree.
We want the families in this area to feel secure in their gardens, and be fully protected from traffic. We want to stop this or something even worse happening ever again.
We are seeking public support to make this happen, and so we appreciate your support in this campaign.
