By signing this petition, you signify your support for stop signs to be installed at the intersections of San Vitero & Grand Chevalle Pkwy (4 way) and Zoebella & Grand Chevalle Pkwy (3 way) in Chaska, MN. This petition is being presented to all individuals in the affected neighbor which includes both Chaska and Victoria residents.
The consistent growth of this petition shows a broad consensus regarding the safety concerns at these intersections. This momentum provides a strong foundation as I prepare to present our request to the local officials.

Many drivers go well beyond 30 mph and it is extremely dangerous for children to cross the street even if they are cautious. One second there are no cars on the street and the next minute someone is going 40 to 45 mph through the neighborhood. Much of the speeding goes unnoticed because it happens between 8 and 5 on weekdays but I work from home and see it happening frequently. I don’t buy the whole “these are big vehicles going 30 mph and it just seems fast.” Most of the excessive speeding occurs from residents in other other parts of the neighborhood. Many of them are on the Victoria side of the neighborhood.

I support because of all the kids on this street and cars typically pick up speed on this stretch.

I fully support this effort. I have 2 children with special needs that have difficulty paying attention to all the traffic rules while playing in the neighborhood. They are frequently being seen forgetting to look for oncoming traffic while crossing streets. Special needs signage would also be appreciated. Thank you.

In addition to Grand Chevalle, I would like to also see speeding thru neighborhoods with culdesac stop. In the San Vitero Circle I see cars (trucks) race down and turn around and leave.
