Dear Juarez students, faculty and neighbors,
We need your help! Students from Benito Juarez High School are working to get a stop sign or school zone sign added at 21st Street and Blue Island. There is a great need for a stop sign at this intersection due to the pedestrian traffic of students, faculty and residents. With your signature we can make this happen. Safety for all is our goal!

I really thought this might just fizzle out but the momentum is actually wild right now and I keep thinking about how dangerous that intersection feels during the morning rush. It is honestly surreal to see so many people agreeing that we just need a simple sign to keep things from getting worse before they get better.

Its only a matter of time before someone gets hit. Put up the sign before a tragedy happens.

This intersection is literally insane during rush hour. I see cars flying through there every morning when kids are trying to walk to class.

Need a light or at least a stop sign. Drivers around here pay zero attention to pedestrians.
