Bank of America is planning on starting a $5 dollar a month fee for costumers who use their debit cards (almost all i would guess). This is happening because The Government put a cap on their overdraft charges they where allowed to charge. So for months now banks have been looking for another source of income...and it seems they have found it. Well, at first $5 dollars doesn't seem like a lot until you think about the fact that Bank of America is the largest bank in the entire United States, having almost 53 million costumers which means by charging $5 a month service fee they will get a total $60 dollars a year from each of their customers which comes up to a grand total of $3,180,000,000! Thats right folks over 3 BILLION DOLLARS! In these tough economic times i feel this is unfair and unconstitutional...we all suffer so some WallStreet ass hole can make is wallet a little fatter. So even if you're not a Bank of America customer if we do nothing and say nothing how long before your bank catches on and this just becomes some new fee we are all paying? Lets do the right thing...lets make ourselves heard and let them know we are not going to stand for this.
I'm sick of these fees anytime I have plans I'm always forced to deduct $5 messing all my calculations up. BofA please stop this it's been years get rid of it
