We the community of Westhill High School strongly object to the transfer of our Assistant Principals, Mr. Ray. Manka and Ms. Roth Nordin to Stamford High School. Both administrators have been a strong asset to our community and have continued to strive to become familiar with the workings of Westhill as well as their individual responsibilities. Both have had a strong presence and have earned the respect of staff, parents and students. We in no way see how the transfer of a new pair of administrators to Westhill will in anyway enhance our learning environment. While this is not in any way a statement of the competence of the administrators slated to be transferred to us we see no advantage to our school and no reason to cause turmoil at Westhill. We should not be put through yet another year of upheaval and learning curves when we are currently in a positive mode. We strongly request the reversal of the decision to remove Mr. Manka and Ms. Nordin from Westhill High School and ask that you consider an alternate solution for the reorganization of Stamford High School.
