We the undersigned wish to object to the planned 'Chinese Theme Park' at Pit-house West (the site of the former Brookhouse Colliery and Coke Ovens)near Rotherham. We ask that Rotherham Borough Council abandon all development plans for this site. As an alternative the area should be managed as a nature reserve and incorporated into Rother Valley Country Park The footpaths, cycleways and fences, that have been neglected by RMBC, should be repaired and the area regularly patrolled by wardens (from RVCP).
