The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the board of the Whiteinch and Scotstoun Housing Association. I am currently drafting a letter of inquiry to demand a full breakdown of their financial justifications for this price hike.

Rents extortionate as it is..it's a rough area outside the Westend yet they charge westend prices..poorly and cheaply maintained not worth the rent as it is..would love to move but can't find someone to swap when they find out the cost of rent each month

My Daughter when asked about why her rent was so much higher than other HASSOCIATIONS was told by her housing officer that it was because she had a new bathroom put in I thought the repairs were part of a fair rent and not being charged a separate bill for repairs ???????? Danny Paton

Sickening how much percentage wise from your salary goes to just rent, then you have to pay council tax on top, that's nearly half my wage and I'm not on the lowest salary so I can only imagine how much pressure and stress this causes families.

Every year this is being raised but yet my wage stays the same. Where I work I have been on a pay freeze so really can't afford any more rent. I'd be cheaper with a mortgage. Shocking if they up it again..
