We the undersigned of Hood County, Texas oppose the building of a Tommy's Convenience Store with “Underground Petroleum Tanks”, near our drinking water wells, located at 102 Weatherford Hwy, Granbury Texas 76049. The site plan filed with Texas Department of Transportation indicates use of one of Laguna Tres private roads without our permission or remuneration for their business purposes. This business will create extremely unsafe traffic volumes on Hwy 51, safety hazards for residents entering /exiting on Hwy 51, with the possibility of spillage of gasoline into our drinking water, and in case of a fire will prevent evacuation of the residents in Laguna Tres Estates.
