I oppose the building of a Tommy's Convenience Store with “Underground Petroleum Tanks”, near our drinking water wells, located at 102 Weatherford Hwy, Granbury Texas 76049. The site plan filed with Texas DOT, indicates use of one of Laguna Tres private roads without our permission or remuneration for their business purposes. This business will create extremely unsafe traffic volumes on Hwy 51, safety hazards for residents entering /exiting on Hwy 51, with the possibility of spillage of gasoline into our drinking water, and in case of a fire will prevent evacuation of the residents in Laguna Tres Estates.

For safety of my neighborhood and my friends and family who visit it, I am NOT in favor of the construction of Tommy’s on Hwy 51 next to Laguna Tres. It will exacerbate the already dangerous traffic at both of the neighborhood entrances.

we live in a family community where children and families use our street to walk and exercise our animals. The speed limit is 20 miles an hour, which is reasonable for the situation. Tommy's business will draw road traffic from hwy 51 to enter our small street only yards from the entry to the proposed business which is expected to be high. The unexpected traffic into this small community set of roads directly off a highway with a 55 mph highway will be disastrous with drivers rapidly turning through the turns to get back to hwy 51. A solution is for the Tommy's business to make all the changes necessary at their expense to make Laguna Tres a gated community with the attendent infrastructure to make it a reallity before further construction.
