The Spring Garden campus project is officially dead and our tax dollars are no longer on the line. I am overwhelmed that we stopped this waste of money together. We must remain vigilant to ensure this plan stays buried for good.

Watching this list grow reminds me how many neighbors are tired of seeing our money wasted on the Spring Garden campus project. We need to hit that hundred signature mark before I meet with the board next to prove they are ignoring our concerns.

As both a business leader and a resident, don't make another bad mistake mortgaging our kids future. Find a way to make it work for way less. Don't be known as the commissioners that double the municipal tax on its residence for bigger Government.
The projected increase in millage will definitely affect home prices adversely to the detriment of your taxpayers. The schools in our township have extensive facilities that should be shared rather than building a new recreational complex.
I am a senior citizen and could not afford this. I am on a VERY limited budget, and this will cause me to move for sure. I am nearing that now. That is the problem, you keep raising taxes and we seniors have to move because we cannot afford to live here anymore.
The needs of the township can be met for far less money. Why didn't the Building Committee publicly review Mr. Maust's evaluation of the cost to renovate existing properties and instead recommend new development at the Mt. Rose site?
I agree with bringing administration and personnel into a common facility, but does each township really need its own athletic complex when we have school complexes unoccupied during summers? Can't we support facilities that already exist?
We on fixed incomes could be forced out of our homes by greatly-escalating taxes. There should be tax breaks for us who have already shouldered the burden for so many years. Tax money should be wisely spent, not pushing heavier and heavier tax burden on residents because a nice, shiny new building sounds like a nice idea.

This is horrible !!! How are people suppose to afford this? I know as a disabled person I have to live within my means.............why can't the townships and government do the same? We can not afford this at all !!!
