My mom was treated like she was invisible when she went there last year. It was honestly heartbreaking watching her cry because the nurses were so rude and impatient. Something has to change.

About time someone looked into this place. Been hearing horror stories for years. Its a hospital not a prison fix it!!

16 Aug 2016 To whom it may concern: On June 30th of this year had the misfortune of bring my wife Doris Dorsey to your ER. While all of the support staff was most friendly and helpful, I can’t say as much for Dr. Newswanger. My wife was suffering from severe pain in her back with pain going down her left leg she had had a lumbar fusion in February. The Dr. came into the examining room and said what do you want me to do for you? We explained why we were there. He never came closer than eight feet from her, never touched or examined her ordered an x-ray and a pain shot. The pain med took effect and we left. That night she was in severe pain again, I call her spine surgeon and he said to get her to him as soon as possible. I contacted his office on July 2nd and they prescribed sever pain killers to get through the weekend. I had to rush her to the ER on the 5th of July because of severe pain and a CT Scan showed a puss pocket in the area of her fusion. Rushed her to her surgeon who had open her up and remove the hardware and flush out the wound. She is receiving antibiotic via a pic tube because she has Strep and the infection is in the bone. Had your Dr. Newswanger been proactive and ordered a scan instead of going back to his morning coffee or whatever we interrupted, the infection probably would not have gotten into the bone causing increases pain.
