Parents and guardians of students at Northampton Middle/High School are asking for immediate action to address the mistreatment of students by Nurse B. Annon at NHS. Our children should be able to go to the nurse’s office for help and support and leave feeling safe, respected, and cared for. They should not be berated, turned away, or scolded when they need assistance.
When a child is treated harshly in a place that is supposed to offer comfort, it affects more than one school day. It can make students afraid to ask for help, and it can leave families feeling shut out when we try to raise concerns. I have already reported incidents to the school administration and to the superintendent’s office, but this issue is still not being taken seriously enough.
We believe parents should have a real voice in how our children are treated at school, and we deserve to know that our concerns are heard and acted on. This petition is a request for accountability, respect, and a safer environment for every student who walks into the nurse’s office.
Please sign this petition if your child has had an incident with B. Annon, or if you believe every student at Northampton Middle/High School deserves better treatment and better care. We are asking the school to listen to families, address this problem directly, and make sure our children are treated with the dignity they deserve.
My daughter has had multiple issues with her. Her attitude alone is unacceptable. Not only will she talk to students any way, shape, or form she will also try to talk to parents the same way. I’ve had to go to the school multiple times over her attitude.
