We, the Gulf Place Property Owners, Interested Parties, and 30-A Property Owners, oppose the proposed hotel in the Gulf Place Community in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Parking within Gulf Place and along 30-A and 393 is already a major problem. Building a hotel will only add to the congestion problem...more cars, more traffic, more people, more noise, and more confusion. The pristine beauty of 30-A, and the small neighborhood communities must be protected from the negative influence of overcrowding. The scenic, historical 30-A highway with it's "old Florida" feel must and should be preserved

The scale of this response confirms the need for immediate action regarding the development proposal. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the county planning department to ensure our position is entered into the official record.

I moved to this area to get away from things like hotels. I live across the street and accept the current congestion and noise in the summer, however adding a hotel is an unnecessary inconvenience that spoils the beauty and uniqueness that is 30A.

We live on 30A because of its natural beauty and small community feel. We only have one public beach access close to us and it is already been over-run by people coming from San Destin and Miramar Beach. This end of 30A can not handle the traffic or any more beach goers.

This proposal is totally absurd. The 2 roads can't handle this degree of increase in traffic. Plus, please remember the flooding of spring 2014 when nobody could get in or out for a few days. This is not the kind of place that lends itself to high density development.

I am an owner at Gulf Place Caribbean and have been so happy with the area. I am not a fan of a hotel/motel and oppose the idea altogether. The residential feel of the area and the pristine beauty should be preserved and not over-commercialized. Thank you, Oli Olafsson

The 393/30-A intersection and Ed Walline Park as well as the beach is over saturated with traffic and people. It cannot handle more. Gulf Place is maxed out and is poorly managed as it is. 90 additional units is far beyond the current property management company's ability.

I owned property across from Gulf Place on Hwy 393. This would have a tremendous impact on traffic, beach access, and crowded conditions. I agree with the "old Florida" policy. What I had in 1973 is definitely a part of history.

No thanks! Traffic is already terrible. I manager a resort and a hotel like this is not needed in our area.

We already have too much traffic as it is now in this area. No more development please!
