The city council officially backed down today and decided to keep our waste services public. I am honestly stunned by this outcome because you all were the ones who truly drove this change. Please keep a close eye on the city budget to make sure they stick to their word.

I have been hearing from so many people who are genuinely worried about these rising trash fees. It is completely overwhelming to see how much everyone cares about our city services despite my own small initial concerns. Thank you for showing me that I am definitely not the only one who sees this as a mistake.

We need to vote on this. Dont just shove it through behind our backs.
I already pay way too much for a service that is barely reliable as it is. Privatization is just a way to make it worse and charge more.
total BS. keep our trash service public. we dont need some private company jacking up our rates for the same job.
Enough with the hidden taxes already. My bills are high enough as it is.
ridiculous. just another way to get more money out of working families. stop this scam.
