The John Flatley Company is planning to build homes in the conservation area behind Spindlewick Drive which will include a road connecting Shadowbrook Drive to this new subdivision of 58 houses. The impact of this road will greatly increase traffic in our neighborhood, Long Hill Estates, and on Spit Brook Road as well as traffic at exits 1 and 4 and their surrounding neighborhoods. With this increase in traffic comes the loss of our quiet, safe neighborhoods. Construction vehicles and equipment make the streets difficult and dangerous for our children to ride their bikes and for us to walk this normally peaceful neighborhood. Developing the conservation area will desecrate what little green space our neighborhood has left also eliminating habitat for countless animals who inhabit that space.

Building 58 new homes will impact our neighborhood school, increasing class sizes which are already the highest in the city. Theses homes could also be rental properties which will add nothing to our tax base and yet our taxes keep getting higher and higher.

Update: There will only one way in and out of this new development which is through our neighborhood. There will be an emergency access only gate on the other end near Spit Brook.

We urge and implore you to sign our petition to stop this access road.

The momentum behind this petition has grown significantly and confirms that our concerns for the preservation of the conservation area are shared by many. This level of support ensures that our neighborhood perspective will be difficult for the planning board to ignore during the upcoming sessions.

I have lived in Long Hill Estates since 1985. I am not in favor of more homes or added traffic moving through this quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely NO!!!!!! Not only the impact on the wild life, but also the increase in traffic and the over crowding at Bicentennial School which is already bursting at the seams. If Nashua has to re-district and Long Hill is no longer attached Bicentennial, it will impact th evalues of our homes! No! No! No!

100% against this buildout as I'll have to listen to construction trucks driving by all day throughout the summer, as well as this will create a cut through to exit 1 which will heavily increase traffic. I just bought my house a year ago, mostly due to the neighborhood and quietness, which this buildout will drastically change that.

This will increase traffic on Timberline Dr, as is kids having trouble crossing roads and this will increase traffic much more. It may become thru way from spit brook road to East Dunstable rd. I support this petition and stop this access road of connecting Shadowbrook drive and to Long Hill Estates.

This is a refuge for wildlife and humans looking for respite from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Please don’t displace more animals from their home. Choose life over profit.

So tired of over building communities to the point that traffic doesn’t move, and then new schools need to be built and ultimately taxes go up. We have been hit hard enough with tax assessment hikes. They will claim it brings in revenue, but the long term impacts on citizens will hurt.
