Tappan Street is getting busy, with no stop signal between Beacon and Rt 9. There was high-speed accident just last week at the corner of Gardner, where there is limited visibility. Town signs labeled "dangerous intersection" and "slow" acknowledge the danger. This street is particularly busy in the mornings with lots of children walking, driving and biking to local schools including Runkle, Brookline High School and Maimonides. Please join me in a petition to the Town of Brookline to add a stop sign on Tappan Street at the intersection of Gardner. **Please include your address in the signature comment field.**

As an adult who primarily walks as means of transportation I can attest to the fact that this corner is a danger.
I live at 151 Tappan St (just down the street from Gardner) and I agree that this is a very dangerous intersection. I have two young children and I worry about letting them walk on the street by themselves when cars are going by so fast. Thanks for starting this petition.
