A few CV neighbors have asked that we petition the town board to install a Stop Sign at the first Coastal View Drive & Mill Stream Run intersection. If we get a majority of neighbors to sign this, it can be presented to the town board. In lieu of a stop sign, it's possible the town may offer a Yield sign.
I spoke with a town official today who noted that traffic volume data is the main thing they need to move forward. Take a moment to text three neighbors about this petition so we can prove the urgency of the situation at the intersection. Send a quick email to your town representative today to demand they prioritize our safety request.

Yes to the stop sign. Definitely needed - I almost had a collision there the other day.

The berm creates an obstruction which is worse in the summer when the plantings grow

With the elevated burm on this corner, it is difficult to see southeast moving traffic along Mill Stream.
