I have been staring at my inbox for hours waiting for a reply from the office but it is just dead air which honestly feels like they are hoping we just get tired and go away. People keep messaging me with their own concerns about the safety protocols and honestly reading those makes me realize that we are definitely not just being paranoid about this whole situation.

I never imagined this would actually take off like it has when I was sitting here stressed about the health situation feeling completely stuck. Seeing so many people jump in is honestly overwhelming in the best way because it means we are finally being seen and things might actually shift for us.

Some of us are going home to elderly people who have underlying health problems and also why couldn’t the weightings of the production be adjusted and the marks be redistributed into our existing marks weighting
I am not too happy to hear about this predicament AFDA is putting us in. It's not safe, I mean come on. I have a family, you can not expect me to risk those close to me, just as everyone else involved for a movie. No man.
It doesn't make sense to keep going on with this term, this year, if students have tested positive for covid 19. Its just putting more and more people at risk. I think that its better to continue this term next year in January.
My thing is that the whole LP class is potentially infected though... it shouldn't be a thing of "direct" contact only, it doesn't work like that. So even the replacements are gonna be probable infected suspects.
Please.. all we want to do is shoot and get done with year 2 academics in peace.. unfortunately this has happened, but please dont punish us like this

I agree that shoots should be postponed until we all feel safe and have tested for Covid
