Free the "Pan Pacific Park Soccer Field" for public use!

A public park should always be open to the public, especially if my taxes pay for the park in the first place. A community center should be available for private parties.
Or there should be some kind of notification letting people know the splash pad is closed on certain days.
My kids were so upset when we drove all the way there just to see a closed sign. Totally unfair.
If they really have to do this at least put it on the website so we know not to waste the gas coming out there.

Private parties should not be allowed to completely close out a park to the public.
