WE OPPOSE - The Comprehensive Land Use Plan Amendment TT/CPA18-03 & Rezoning from R-4 (4 units per acre) to R-9 (9 units per acre)

WE OPPOSE - The Development of 311 Multi-Family Rental Apartments on 34 acres at the Corner of 78th Street and Temple Terrace Highway (Terrace Golf Course)

WE OPPOSE - THE PROPOSED INCREASE IN DENSITY AND REZONING AS INCOMPATIBLE AND DETRIMENTAL TO THE ESTABLISHED SINGLE FAMILY SUBDIVISIONS DIRECTLY TO THE EAST OF THE SITE, AND THE SURROUNDING ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS

WE BELIEVE- IT WILL DECREASE OUR PROPERTY VALUES, INCREASE CRIME IN THE AREA, CAUSE TRAFFIC CONGESTION (One of the ingress/egress will be off of 78th St), AND ADVERSELY AFFECT OUR QUALITY OF LIFE.

TEMPLE TERRACE ALREADY HAS A HUGE PERCENTAGE OF MULTI-FAMILY APARTMENTS! We need to retain only single family detached homes in our quiet neighborhoods and PROTECT the adjacent delicate river preserve environment. This very dense, massive proposal will cause much more traffic congestion on 78th Street and more traffic and turning in/out problems on Temple Terrace Highway, slowing traffic and causing accidents and time delays plus drainage problems.
