Final supporters
An ordinance has been proposed for a large development (Approx 120 Acres) on Route 33 and Millhurst Road. Local Residents who want to oppose and stop this construction should all sign this online petition.
Let our voice be heard!!!
Let the true number of people who oppose this be known.
This Expansive development would include the Following:
- Up to 599 residences (1-2 Bedroom apartments)
- Structures will be up to 4 stories high
- Commuter parking to be provided on site
- An amphitheater or entertainment center and other large scaled stores.
More development means more municipal services, government expenditures at the expense of the Manalapan taxpayers. The proposed development will destroy open space, further exacerbate traffic patterns and inevitably will lower your property value and the value of life.

For the record, not opposed or for the project; however, seems like more time is needed to for conversation and ensuring the residents and elected officials are aligned with how to approach. A unilateral vote should not occur until these conversations occur, people are heard, and we're all informed on what this means.
There are 5 large housing developments in a 2 square mile radius of the area they want to develop. And it is not zoned for residential for a reason. The town wants to overturn that ordinance,WE SAY ENOUGH!!
I live right down the road from this project, the traffic on a good day is horrendous. I can not imagine what it will be when this is built
Traffic at 522 and Tennent Rd./ Main St. will be three times as horrific as it currently is.
I totally oppose this project. When I bought my house in Manalapan I did not sign for this!
There is too much traffic now. I cant imagine what it would be like with this project.

I moved out here for open space, not 100 more apartments and retail stores in place of a farm!
