The board decided against the curriculum change and our kids are safe from this agenda for now. I am overwhelmed by the strength you showed in protecting the innocence of our children. Let us stay diligent because we must always be ready to defend the values we hold dear.

On Monday, June 24th at 10am the Arizona State Board of Education will be voting on a radical sex ed curriculum being pushed by Planned Parenthood and national radical LGBTQ groups.

The Arizona School Board meeting will meet at 1535 W. Jefferson St, Conf. 122, Phoenix, AZ 85007.

The State School Board has REMOVED “promote honor and respect heterosexual monogamous marriage” from R7-2-303 without any input from the public.

On June 24 they want to add language that will REQUIRE our kids from kindergarten to 12th grade to be taught about anal and oral sex based on “science” (presented by Alfred Kinsey) from convicted felons and pedophiles.

Stand up for you kids’ education & tell Supt of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman that their proposed SEX Ed program is not welcome.

See There-Is-No-Such-Thing-As-Safe-Sex-For-Kids-2-0 for one of the best descriptions of what is happening and what MUST be done.

It is one thing to do nothing because you don’t know. But after reading this you’ll have to ask yourself what will you do?

Tell the Arizona State Board of Education NO! Hands off our innocent kids!

My own kids are at risk if this curriculum takes hold in our classrooms and I refuse to back down now. We are nearly at five hundred signatures so please send this link to your neighbors immediately to push us over the threshold. The board needs to see that we are paying close attention to their vote.

Seeing this level of support confirms that parents across Arizona are finally waking up to the danger this curriculum poses to our young children. Knowing that so many of you are just as protective of your own families as I am gives me immense strength for the road ahead.

Please do not do this to our children. It is the parents responsibility to teach their children about sex, not the state. If this is something you are passionate about, provide parents the resources to teach their children better.

I’m furious that you can vote this in without any consent or open Dialogue with parents and grandparents. What makes believe you have a right to teach our children these inappropriate behaviors to such young children, or to our children at all.

I am appalled that this type of education is even being considered. Let sex education be taught in the home. As a former teacher I would not want to be mandated to teach this to any age group.

Sex education is the responsibility of parents, not government. Our schools should focus on academics. I'm very concerned that a mandatory, California-style "sexual health" curriculum will be imposed on Arizona students and schools--with no parental notification or opt-in provision. No way.

My child is in a private school. However, regardless of where our kids attend, we need to be deeply concerned about the state of education and the sexualization of children under the guise of that education.

Enough already! You cannot teach children well enough to compete in the world. What makes you think you can teach them about sex? Leave sex ed to parents and just teach children how to READ, WRITE, MATHEMATICS, HISTORY, SCIENCE and CIVICS.

Please consult parents before implementing a new curriculum. And always have an opt-out option.

This program is not acceptable. We need to protect our children's rights. You put this curriculum in schools you will be pushing them in a direction of more than this life is acceptable but it should be they way they choose. And yes that lifestyle is a chose.
