I am a parent. A Christian parent at that. One day while hanging out with my child at her school (In San Francisco), I came along a book which caught my eye. I do not remember the title, however, as I read the book, it shocked the crap out of me. I was astonished that my preschooler has access to material that identifies sexual tendencies and sexual preferences. Even mentioning sexual intercourse with the same sex. I asked the teacher, why is this book here? She tells me it was the schools book. I asked her, does she feel its appropriate that she reads books to children under the age of 5 about sex and same sex intercourse? She replies saying that it's just what the school is doing and that its their duty to inform children and prepare them for the future. I asked her, does she believe that my daughter's immediate future required the teaching of things that I MYSELF FIND IMMORAL AND DISGUSTING? She replies and tells me that she is just doing her job. I am sick of this countries bureaucratic idiots thinking they can just sit here and sign things into law without US, THE PEOPLE VOTING ON IT... OR AT LEAST ALLOWING US THE OPTION OF OPTING OUT OF THINGS THAT WE FIND AGAINST OUR RELIGION, BELIEF, MORALS, AND ANYTHING ELSE! JERRY Brown's punk butt(sorry about the language) signed into law in California that schools are required to teach gay history. Excuse me but CAN WE GET A SAY ON THIS? How does PROP 8 pass and then one idiot judge can overrule what the majority voted on? I can't believe today's society and how we, the straight people, are hated on if we do not accept their ways... I DO NOT WANT GAY HISTORY TAUGHT IN MY CHILDREN'S LIVES AT ALL! IF YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY, PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION, TAKE IT TO YOUR CHURCH, HAVE YOUR MEMBERS AND FAMILY SIGN!
