No big commercial jets. The airport has done absolutely nothing to alter the noise and air pollution coming from the airport. Jets fly all hours of the night and do not follow any type of quiet hours. We need local control of this airport.
Local airport is great--but if we don't push back and assert our legal rights, commercial interests will run us over. Enforced flight curfews, and flight path redirection to reduce noise levels and crash dangers will allow us all to coexist in a reasonable manner.
I don’t live on CLD flight path yet the commercial & private jets fly north at the AH lagoon at a low altitude which shows their disregard of the community & CLD’s inability to enforce regulations. More jets will make the issue worse. No to more jets at CLD
I live in the flight path and strongly oppose all expansion efforts at Palomar Airport. My safety and quality of life are already negatively impacted by airport expansion operations that overstep Carlsbad community airport controls.
The County needs to adopt and enforce mandatory noise abatement procedures for Palomar Airport. The County has not enforced the voluntary noise abatement procedures in the last 10-15 years and air traffic, esp. jet air traffic is increasing.
No new noises and pollution in my community
The county has bypassed the proper procedure by excluding Carlsbad from the decision. This will not be allowed without a fight.

I have lived near the airport for 10 years and the airplane noise is significantly worse. We are awaken before 6 am by large airplanes and the noise goes on till well after 10. It’s unacceptable that the impact on the community is being ignored!!!
