The county board of supervisors has officially rescinded the closure mandates. This reversal confirms our local businesses can remain open and continue their operations without further interference. We are maintaining our oversight committee to ensure these economic rights are protected moving forward.

Final supporters
We support ALL business owners including, but not limited to restaurants, retail, gyms,salons/personal care services choosing to exercise their rights to economic freedom and to earn a living. Restrictions and closures are devastating to the businesses, to the employees who need to work to survive, vendors, suppliers, sales and service workers who support and supply the businesses, etc. The impact goes way beyond the business stakeholders and their families. Restrictions and closures have a huge, detrimental effect on the economy. We support businesses choosing to stay open.

We understand there is a rise in cases but local businesses have made every accommodation required of them. Let the people decide what is best for the individual . We have the right to earn a living
We can do this safely! State of California - please do NOT punish our small businesses by sending state agencies to fine small businesses trying to safely provide services and feed their families.
Please allow businesses to stay open! It’s their livelihood. If people can’t pay their bills, they can die too! They have spent so much money already making it safe for everyone. KEEP THEM OPEN!!!!!!!!!!
There will be nothing to come back to if I along with all the other small businesses close for weeks or months. I'm more afraid of the close downs then I am of covid-19
Please allow our small businesses to stay home. They are the foundation of our community and we need them as much as they need us! Plus keeping them closed is unconstitutional and I had always hope my community leaders were here for us so please prove me right!
Fun fact, more people have died in El Dorado county from covid than commented on this petition.

We need our local businesses as much as they need us to patronize them. Once they are gone they will not be coming back. We will be left with an empty town and Amazon as the only option.
