PETTITION TO OPEN ALL BUSINESS IN ARKANSAS
PETTITION TO ADDRESS GOVERNMENT OVERREACH
___________________________________________________________
The following Grievances are a result of Federal, State, and local government overreach of power infringing on our unalienable rights to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”.
- Grievance 1: Our government has infringed on our rights to participate in free commerce by restricting access to goods and services and denying us the right to operate our businesses and perform our trades.
- Grievance 2: Our government has infringed on our rights to freely worship and peacefully assemble.
- Grievance 3: Among other abuses, our government has infringed on our liberties through dictated curfews, restricted individual’s interactions, and in some cases, mandated the use of facial coverings in public places.
Disease Response
There are diseases that claim the lives of many American’s every year, many of which have had equal or greater impact on peoples health as Covid-19. With the arrival of Covid-19, we should obviously all be reminded to continue the best hygiene practices, which our great country has been doing for so long, that have helped American’s enjoy an unprecedented quality of life. In an effort to mitigate the spread of disease in America, we support these individual and government actions.
- 1. Government guideline "recommendations" for best practices under present national threats.
- 2. Individual responsibility to practice good hygiene and common courtesy to maintain distance when ill.
- 3. Individual choice to self-quarantine or take other precautions when feeling vulnerable.
If these Government edicts have caused harm to your livelihood (job, home, savings etc), restricted your freedom to assemble, or prevented your pursuit of happiness - make your voice heard. Let the government know you will not be complicit in the destruction of your constitutional rights and the rights of your countrymen by signing this petition.
Governor Asa Hutchinson,
Every person is free to choose how to get and stay well. We are committed to promoting and preserving for the people of Arkansas the right to access the healing and health care treatment, information, and services of their choice which they determine necessary for their own health and happiness. We are committed to standing for liberty. We are committed to upholding and defending the Arkansas and United States Constitutions. We are resolved to lead the people in defending and retaining their freedoms. The recent ‘discovery’ and narrative of an alleged new virus making its way to Arkansas has created an environment of fear and an uncharted landscape of government overreach in the lives of all Arkansans.
This interruption in the education, business, and social interaction of Arkansans will not be tolerated. While some may believe that the unlawful destruction of our way of life may 'slow the spread' or 'protect the susceptible', this is simply not accurate and not appropriate. Humans encounter trillions and trillions of pathogens – bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites in our world every minute of every day. Nature brilliantly designed our bodies with amazing immune systems to combat these earthly cohabitants of ours.
Our natural rights are not subject to claims of suspension for ‘safety’ purposes. UNALIENABLE means these rights are inherently ours. These rights cannot, and will not, be suspended or infringed upon ever, for any reason. This is non-negotiable.
Arkansans who personally feel concerned about this or any pathogen certainly have the right to restrict their own movement, self-quarantine, avoid social interaction, or take any other measure of self-induced restriction they deem necessary for their own safety. What may not happen is government-forced restriction on the people, whether state or federal. It is up to each and every person to keep themselves well, not the state. We understand that it is our job as individuals to get adequate nutrition, sleep, relaxation, exercise, and fresh air. It is not up to the state, or any other Arkansan, to police what another does, nor to protect them. The state does not have the right to dictate the way Arkansans lead their lives, nor to force some citizens to protect others for a theoretical threat. Every person is sovereign, and we as a state are sovereign. We will not allow the violation of our sovereignty.
Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence, said, and we echo this sentiment, “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.” The people of Arkansas will not be enslaved. There is nothing more dangerous than the destruction of our liberty, and we will not stand for it. We are supposed to be a constitutional republic. A republic protects the individual from the “mob mentality”. Right now, we have a media-sponsored, fear-based, “mob mentality”. In a republic, those who wish to continue with their lives should be able to work, function, and NOT be beholden to those who are afraid to do so. As with ANY other flu-based outbreak we have ever had, if people are worried, please keep the kids out of school, stay home if you like, wash your hands, and let the rest of the world carry on! The citizens of Arkansas, and all that stand with us, demand that our God-given rights be respected.
We assert that every single business in our state is essential, and that they shall be respected as such. Health freedom and all freedom includes the right to human interaction, happiness, unrestricted movement, and unrestricted social interaction. Peaceful assembly is a fundamental right, and it shall not be infringed. We expect and demand access to every single item on the market. Government will not be permitted to decide what products are and are not available for sale or trade. We will not stand for it.
We expect you, Governor Hutchinson, as well as all state, city, and county executive departments, state, city, and county employees, the Representatives and Senators that comprise our Legislature, our law enforcement, our Judges and our courts to understand, respect, and uphold our God-given constitutional rights. We expect you to immediately rescind any and all orders that infringe on these rights. We will accept no less.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and all other federal departments have no authority in our sovereign state. We will not allow their influence or "recommendations" to lead to the suspension or destruction of our rights.
Governor Hutchinson, you took an oath to uphold the Arkansas Constitution, and United States Constitution against all enemies. The enemy now is those who seek to use fear to destroy unalienable rights. Arkansas does not and will not stand for this, under any circumstances. We demand you rescind all restrictions on our rights and economy immediately.

The government thought they could choke out our local economy while we stayed quiet. This surge in support proves they were dead wrong and now our message is too loud to ignore.

The people of Arkansas want to feed their families. What good does shutting down the state do when it's highly possible more people will die of suicide depression, starvation etc. #LiberateArkansas

Single mothers have had work hours cut from 40 to 20/week. With schools out... most childcare costs. We still have rent & all utility bills to pay. We still need to be able to afford basic necessities.
