Dear members of the Community,

Did you know that a request to redevelop the former Royal Pizza restaurant into a Pawn Store, a Secondhand Store and a Professional, Financial and Office Support Service to open a Cash Canada office in the previous name location has been approved as discretionary use?
The Inglewood Business Association Board of Directors believes that the proposed installment of businesses immediately across the street from an existing pawn shop and in walking distance of two other second-hand stores will negatively impact the immediate area. We think in our transforming area these businesses do not build on the shared values of sustainable and healthy practices that our community leagues, our churches as well as our many health and service organizations and businesses have been working so hard to build.
