To the Sportsmall Tennis Club Management,
We, the undersigned members of the Sportsmall Tennis community, respectfully submit this petition regarding the recent dismissal of Coach Eric Clark. This news has deeply saddened players across all ages and levels. Eric is not only an exceptional coach, but also a positive, uplifting presence who has helped build a true sense of community, teamwork, and passion for tennis at Sportsmall.
Eric has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and kindness, and he has made a profound impact on our tennis experience. Many of us consider him our favorite coach, someone who inspires us, motivates us, and makes Sportsmall a place we are excited to come to.
We believe that the decision to let Eric go may not fully reflect how deeply valued he is by the membership. Sportsmall will not be the same without him, and we sincerely fear that his absence will affect the strength of our tennis community as well as the long-term vibrancy and loyalty of club members.
Our purpose is not to issue demands or ultimatums.
Instead, we wish to express — with honesty and heartfelt sincerity — how much Eric means to us and how strongly we hope Sportsmall will consider reinstating him. We ask the management to kindly reconsider this decision and to keep Eric on staff, so we can preserve the sense of connection, continuity, and family that he has worked so hard to build.
Tennis at Sportsmall is more than just lessons and court time; it is a community. Eric has been an essential part of that community, and we hope you will take this message to heart.

Eric has coached me in the juniors for a long time. He’s so much more fun than some of the other coaches who don’t really care as much. Please let him stay at the sportsmall
I love having Eric as a tennis coach at the sports mall!! One thing I love is that he does have another job and only works part time at sports mall. He’s not worn out and tired of teaching tennis all day. He comes in fresh and brings a good vibe. That’s why we play tennis!! Please keep him as a part time coach. Thank you.
Eric has been my private coach for close to two years. Out of all the sports I’ve played, and coaches I’ve had throughout the years, he is a clear clear standout. Eric is truly the reason I remain committed to the Sports Mall.
Eric has been an integral part of my participation and being a member of the Sportsmall tennis membership. His pleasant demeanor, light hearted and skillful coaching have drastically improved my tennis level and confidence to participate in group workouts and league play. Eric is an asset to the sports mall and has been integral in creating and sustaining the large group live ball private lessons Wednesdays Fridays, Saturdays and Holidays. I’m signing this petition to ask you to reconsider your decision to terminate Eric’s employment at the Sportsmall.
I joined Sports Mall specifically for the liveball with Eric as the coach. It started with a small group and now it’s a huge community of friends and HE is the reason we come play and have a great time. He brings excitement, great vibes and he truly is a positive light, he always has a smile on his face and every word he says is always positive and motivating. We all feel uplifted when we come play, especially when he is the coach.
BRING ERIC BACK!!
We love Eric and want him to keep coaching us at SM!!!

Talk about an unforced error! Sports mall needs more coaches that can make you smile and teach technique at the same time.
