Dear Zac and Invited Leadership,

I hope this letter finds you well. As active members of the Trophy Club Country Club, we are writing to express our earnest request for the reinstatement of Fred Shlesinger as one of our primary tennis professionals at the tennis center.

Fred's short tenure at our club was marked by unparalleled enthusiasm, dedication, and an exceptional level of expertise in tennis instruction. His departure has been deeply felt within our tennis community, as he not only brought a wealth of experience but also a contagious passion for the sport that resonated with both seasoned players and beginners alike. As you know, many of us have followed him despite his relocation to Oakmont as a result.

Since Fred's departure, we have observed a decline in member engagement and participation in our tennis facilities. Despite current leadership efforts, the tennis center has struggled to attract new members and form cohesive teams, resulting in a stagnation that is disheartening to witness. We believe that Fred's return would not only invigorate our tennis program but also serve as a catalyst for rejuvenating interest and activity within our tennis community.

Fred's innovative approach to coaching and his ability to tailor drills to individual skill levels have proven to be instrumental in fostering member involvement and improving overall performance on the court. His infectious energy and unwavering commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on each of us, and we firmly believe that his reinstatement is crucial to reenergizing our tennis program.

Furthermore, we truly feel that hiring Fred will not only attract new members (who will soon have other options nearby as the Lifetime Fitness Center is inaugurated this summer) but will also re-engage those who have felt disillusioned by recent developments in our tennis leadership. By reinstating Fred, you (TCCC) will have the opportunity to reaffirm your commitment to providing top-tier tennis facilities and instruction to our members.

As loyal and active members of the club, we urge you to consider our request. Fred’s return represents a pivotal step in the right direction towards reinvigorating our tennis program at Trophy Club Country Club.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we eagerly await your favorable response.

Warm regards,

Reaching this level of support has been taxing but it proves the community still cares deeply about what we lost here. It is exhausting to keep pushing against the silence from leadership yet seeing these names keeps me moving forward.

Going to really miss having Austin who was truly committed to this club. His departure is a huge loss to our club. LOVED having Fred on the courts & hope to see him back at TCCC. Fred was helpful and truly put in the time to work with us players. Pickleball is taking over and it’s starting to feel like Tennis has been put on the sidelines.

When Fred was here he created so much energy and fun at the club. We haven’t had that since he left. Hiring Fred back would do a lot for building trust with the members that management actually cares about their tennis members.

As captain of our 3.0 ladies team, I am very worried about the state of our program. We had to work very hard and scramble to put together a roster this season. We were forced to invite non-members to play with us. Going forward that will not be an option and that means possible death of 3.0 ladies tennis at Trophy Club. That would leave about 10 ladies looking to play at other clubs. I believe that Fred has the ability to resurrect our program and attract new members and promote participation amongst current members. Please listen to the voices of your members! Thank you

Please consider reinstating Fred at TCCC tennis. Fred’s expertise and witty personality was a positive for the tennis members of all ages. If Fred returns, the tennis members are confident in the revitalization of our program.

Having been a TCCC member continually since 2012, I have seen many pros come and go at the club. From day one, Fred Shlesinger taught new technique and strategy in an original and fun way. I loved stepping on the court with him and knew that my time and money was being put to great use because I would step off the court a little better for having been coached by him. I was very disappointed when he left and continued to take lessons with him until my scheduled prevented me from doing so. Having Fred back at TCCC would greatly improve and grow the tennis program.

I learned more about tennis in the short time that Fred was at TCCC than I have learned in the decade prior. His Masterclass was amazing and his shot of the week classes were most helpful. I really enjoyed all of the activities and the momentum that he was beginning to build for our tennis community. We understand tennis is not the priority at TCCC but Fred makes us feel like we are. Thank you for your consideration.

We will miss Austin, but would love to have Fred back! He generates alot of excitement among tennis members, despite issues with invited management and other employees.
