This is a petition to support the reinstating of Martin Ortiz under the employment of Chicago Athletic Clubs. He is far too beloved of an instructor for us to let him go. We need to let CAC know how much Martin has impacted our fitness regimes (and our lives)! For most of us, our membership to CAC is largely associated with Martin's classes. We urge CAC to reconsider the impact this will have on its clubs based on the outpouring of love from Martin's loyal followers.

I am truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for Martin and I honestly never thought this humble effort would resonate with so many people. This belongs entirely to all of you who shared your stories about how much he means to our community.

How can I survive without my amazing Dance fusion class !?!! Martin is such a beautiful person with so much energy and positive philosophy. Every Monday and Tuesday, he brings me to life! If I chose CAC, it's because of Martin!
Body Pump with Martin was the only thing that got me to the gym every Sunday morning for years. Although I've been away from LSAC for a while I always think about coming in for one of his classses. Very sad to see him go!
I am unaware of the circumstances behind Martin's departure, but I do know that this is a HUGE loss for CAC. I regrettably had to cancel my membership last year, but I've always planned to rejoin as soon as I am able. Martin is the sole reason I would rejoin CAC rather than any other gym.
This is such shocking news! Martin is such a kind person and genuinely cares about everyone that steps inside the studio. His class is about his students and their well being and not his ego. What a shame!
Martin is a fantastic instructor and I always enjoyed his classes. He is key to the success of CAC’s class offerings and I have recommended LVAC to people for years largely because of him. Please reinstate him!
Martin is amazing! Bring him back, please!!

Martin is one of the most talented and passionate instructors ever to grace CAC. His challenging classes and vibrant energy allow everyone to feel welcome and able to succeed given any fitness background from beginner to advanced. He must be reinstated to CAC in order to share his gift for leading.
