The school board finally folded and approved our soccer program. It took far too much pressure to get them to listen but we forced their hand. Keep watching them to make sure those teams actually hit the field next year.

Final supporters
We the undersigned, would like to see Mineral Ridge High School have a boy's and a girl's soccer program. Soccer is a great sport and has become very popular in the area. Many other school districts surrounding Mineral Ridge have high school soccer teams. Also, it would be nice to see Mineral Ridge High School have another sport for students to become active in and the community to get behind and support.
*Please sign if you are a student, a parent, guardian, or sibling of a student, a teacher or other employee of Weathersfield Local Schools, a resident of Weathersfield Township, or even a friend, family member, or supporter of someone in Weathersfield School district who would like to see Weathersfiel Local Schools establish a soccer program.

The school board can no longer ignore this groundswell of demand for a soccer program. We have proven that the community is fed up with being left behind while neighboring districts invest in their students. This momentum is just the beginning of the fight to get our kids on the field.

Every school around us has soccer. Why are we always behind? My daughter would love this.
soccer is huge now. crazy that we dont have a team yet.
My freshman is so bored since he cant play here. Really hoping they listen to us.
GO RAMS!! bring soccer to the ridge!
We need more sports options for the kids. Keeps them out of trouble and teaches them discipline. Do it.

Its about time we had a team. My son has been playing travel for years and has to go to another school just to play. Lets get it done.
