Please support! Alberta is the only province in Canada without a provincially funded meal program for it's students. Canada is also the only G8 country without a nationally sponsored program. In Canada, 1 in 6 children go to school hungry and of those, 74% will never tell anyone. This means that over 1 million children in this country go to school with empty stomachs.
