The emails I receive from students struggling to afford basic meals daily have been heart-wrenching to read. Dealing with the bureaucracy of government officials is exhausting and slow but I am staying in contact with their offices to keep this momentum moving forward.

Reaching this level of support has been a heavy, grounding experience that proves we are not fighting this battle alone. The work ahead remains grueling and the exhaustion is real, but seeing this momentum gives me the resolve to keep pushing for the funding our students actually deserve.

Help the students feed theirselves. we need real funding not just student fees.
Cant believe this is even a thing in 2018. students are the future and they are starving.
The price of groceries is insane lately. UofT needs to step up and the gov needs to pay their share
SO TRUE. my friend at ryerson uses the food bank because she has no choice. its not fair.
tuition is already way too high. nobody should have to choose between a textbook and dinner. fix this ASAP

I went through school broke as hell and it was miserable. food banks are literally keeping students in class right now. fund them!!!
