It is a real hardship on the kids to miss so much school. In order to play an away game at San Mateo, the kids have to leave school at 1:15. This means missing 2 hours of classroom time. That is really hard to make up and adds a lot of stress to busy kids' lives.

This is a safety issue. Kids are on famous after hours for all sorts of sport practices and other meetings. Light it up and keep it safe.

The residents at Woodlake who complain of these lights were fully aware of the existance of a public high school when they purchased or rented the units facing the fields. This is long overdue for the benefit of the school and students.

It's difficult for girls soccer in the winter - even with the games starting at 4:30 it's almost dark by 5:30, difficult to see the ball

Lights on the field will be very beneficial to our student athletes, especially at SMHS where the turf field is in such high demand due to the poor condition of the other school fields.

We've invested lots of tax dollars to build these facilities. Let's finish the job and maximize our return for our kids. The new light technologies has directed light and minimal light pollution to surrounding residents. At this point there's no reason not to do so.

I am glad there are now lights in the school because mu kids always like to play there but they can bear lay play because when it gets dark they want to keep o but there wasn't any lights.
