In 2016, The School of Museum of Fine Arts became a part of Tufts University. While the transition process is still undergoing changes, SMFA students currently cannot declare a minor under the school to which they belong to. As SMFA students, we wish to take full advantage of the artistic and the academic resources at Tufts. Seeing this momentum grow has been truly overwhelming for me. It is clear that this is something we all care deeply about and I am just happy to be a part of this movement with you.

Students should be able to avail themselves of all the resources an institution has to offer. This chiefly includes recognition for work done during their time at said institution. There is no reason a SMFA student should be penalized a minor degree simply because they attend a satellite school rather than the main body of Tufts University. In short, I want the minor I have earned!
don't buy an arts school under your name and then treat its students like their not part of your university.
This is an obvious choice. Artists benefit from wide academic perspectives.
Long live SMFA
Everyone who's capable of doing the work should have the chance to be excepted in

As a teacher at Tufts, I've enjoyed & benefitted from having SMFA students in my courses over the years. Seems like a good idea to encourage more of that.
