I think there should be a skate park in Kilkee because the closest one is in Ennis which is hardly local. Skateboarding and other extreme sports are growing in Ireland and most people have to travel quite far to go skating. I believe that a skate park in one of Irelands most popular summer tourist destinations would greatly increase the public's interest in skateboarding, and so, create jobs in the skate shop industry. Also skateboarding is an underserved sport wich many people enjoy. For exaple, there are 54 GAA clubs in Clare and onlyONEskate park. Unlike GAA and other feild sports there is really no rules whith skateboarding. If the skateboarder is uncomfortable doing a certain trick they don't have to do it. Also if you are over 10 years old you can not go to the playground in Kilkee.
