There are many kids, like myself, that are interested in action sports such as scooting and skateboarding. We feel we can't reach our full abilities jumping on and off curbs in a car park. We think it would benefit us all if there was a local, free outdoor skatepark. There is the argument that there is Thunder Park, the indoor skatepark at Eddie Irvines, but it is too expensive to frequently go to the park. We hope this all go's ahead. Thanks.
I have been reviewing the feedback regarding the affordability of local recreational facilities and it is clear that many people feel priced out of current options. This project aims to secure a space that is accessible to everyone regardless of their budget. I am currently preparing formal correspondence to present these concerns to the local council.

The momentum surrounding our proposal for a local outdoor skatepark is truly encouraging. It is apparent that many residents recognize the necessity of having an accessible space for action sports in Bangor.

Thunder park is way to much money for us to keep going every week, would be great to have somewhere free to go after school

Bangor was such an attraction back on the day now the people come for the sea the kids are playing video games so if there was a pump track that would get them outside
