I was just watching a few kids trying to find a flat patch of concrete back behind the shops and it honestly just makes me double down on why we even started this whole thing in the first place. Nobody wants to be skating in the dark or dodging traffic just to practice a hobby but here we are because there is literally nowhere else to go. Maybe if they actually saw how many people are fed up with this lack of space they might finally start listening to us.

Great idea. Better than having them loitering around the shops.
Its about time. Basketball and football get all the funding but skaters just get ignored. Sick of seeing them get moved on by police for just trying to have fun.
ONCHAN NEEDS A SKATEPARK ASAP!!
Keep them off the main roads. It is dangerous for everyone involved.
My son is out on his board everyday and I worry sick about the traffic. A park just makes sense to keep them safe.

Finally someone said it. The kids have literally nowhere to go. Stop chasing them off private property and give them a place to ride.
