Hello, my name is Greg. I have been a resident of this community for a long time and my wife and I are raising young kids here. We like this area and have a strong desire to protect it. Over the past few years, especially in the summer, we have heard and witnessed racing in our area whether it was on Silverberry, 34th, 17th or other streets in between plus people actually passing us for following the speed limit. EPS has been informed several times about these incidents and have decided that we are not a priority and I say yes we are. I have connected with a hand full of others in our area and we believe that at the very least speed bumps should be installed permanently plus cross walk lights. It's time to protect our neighborhood, our kids and put a stop to this non sense once and for all. If you agree, please sign the petition and I will personally bring it to our councilor Mo Banga.

The need is real. I live on silver berry and some times crossing the street to get the mail is the scariest part of my day. I have three young kids and it is a daily stress for us. If you need any help with this let me know. The neighbourhood down from the coop has speed bumps. So it’s possible
I would like Speed Bumps installed on Silverberry Road between 33 Ave NW and 3 St NW, all these cars come off 33 Ave NW onto Silverberry and squeal tires and Race towards 34St. Needs to Stop
I back into Silverberry Road and the passing, racing and noise is ridiculous. Additionally when walking in the area you have to be extra careful walking and crossing the streets. Drivers to do not observe the pedestrians at all.
Thank you for taking time to do this. I have called the EPS multiple times in the last few years about people speeding. I was told last year that this area of Silverberry is unfortunately not “bad enough” with problems like speeding and crime to have a group contact attached to contact & do follow ups.
It's very annoying to have cars racing by my house on Silver Berry Road, and sometimes dangerous when I'm trying to back out of my driveway. We've had 3 cars parked on the road damaged by hit and run drivers. We need speed bumps, like they have on 34 avenue between 17 and 28 streets.
Nice to finally see speed restrictive structures on Silverberry Rd.
It's been 20yrs of these reckless drivers. It needs to stop!!! Our kids need to come first.

Please give our Community the care it deserves to protect our neighbour's and our children. We have had 2 deaths in our Community due to those speeding through here,what's next the death of one of our children due to speed before something is done about it??
