Nice to finally see speed restrictive structures on Silverberry Rd.

It's been 20yrs of these reckless drivers. It needs to stop!!! Our kids need to come first.

My 15 year old daughter has been scared to cross the street in this area and I as well have 2 younger boys that I will not allow to play outside as there are people who don't follow speed limits and race in the area. My daughter was almost hit crossing the road on 17th street when she was crossing after getting of of the bus and it was at a stop light intersection. This kind of stuff needs to be addressed or what will it take. A child to be struck and hit by a vehicle. Let's do better and have this taken care of. Our children matter and we all matter.

Our house back up to 38th avenue in between 17th and 34th street and the past years it has been getting more obnoxious with racing, loud exhausts, etc to a point where we can't enjoy our backyard anymore. EPS has had a speed trap a few Sundays ago and that has been the first day in years where we were able to have a communication in the backyard without yelling at each other

Its outta control. They meet at the meadows rec center and burn donuts in the parking lot also.

I moved to this neighborhood to get away from the drag racers in callingwood. I'm not too happy to hear they are here too.

Please give our Community the care it deserves to protect our neighbour's and our children. We have had 2 deaths in our Community due to those speeding through here,what's next the death of one of our children due to speed before something is done about it??

My husband and I moved into Silver Berry last January and the amount of speeding and racing is ridiculous. These people need to prosecuted. We are expecting our first child and hope that the streets become more safe. Thanks for starting this petition!

Street racing should be stopped

I live in Laurel near 34 street and 16A Ave nw. They were using 34 street from 16A Ave south to the henday as a time trial drag strip where they floor it from the lights to the henday. The noise that bounces between the apartment buildings amplifies and can be loud enough to wake you with all doors and windows closed. It is louser than conversations. Since 34 street is closed for work they have still been coming through meadows and flooring it from the lights heading east/west on 16A Ave through the neighborhoods. I've reported several license plates but nothing is ever done. They need to set up a speed/sound trap ans have these drivers issued citations to have their vehicle meet the noise regulations. There are several children who live in this area and as a paramedic I do not want to see what will happen. It is bad enough as it is that we had so many high velocity accidents at this intersection before the lights were put in. Something needs to be done here.

yes that's 34st I believe. Took her years to get them because she couldn't convince the city to do it until one of these guys smashed through her fence again and not only destroyed that but also her large standalone garage.

When we will be priority?! When one of our kids get hit by one of these speeders?! Outrageous!! Speed bumps at the very least!

The need is real. I live on silver berry and some times crossing the street to get the mail is the scariest part of my day. I have three young kids and it is a daily stress for us. If you need any help with this let me know. The neighbourhood down from the coop has speed bumps. So it’s possible
