In their most recent August 11 "Club Update" email, Fitler Club will begin charging for parking in their garage starting September 1st (their announcement from their is below). Parking rates start at $13 for up to 3 hours. This invariably changes the financial dynamics of being a member at the club. For example, the club promotes itself and is centered around wellness. A member going to the club to use the gym 4-5x per week would now see an added $200-250 increase in membership costs just to attend the gym. This almost doubles the monthly dues of $300/mo. Any other visits to the club would further compound this cost.
On a separate note there have also been rumors that they will begin charging for group fitness classes in the coming months.
Please considering signing the petition to communicate with the Club how significant this change will be and that The Club should keep parking included in membership or implement valet charges after 2 hours or something similar.
"Starting September 1st, Fitler Club will be moving back to a valet parking service to accommodate the increasing demand for parking and eliminate the 2 hour limit for both members and their guests. In listening to your feedback, it has become clear to us that the lack of parking is a consistent problem. We have partnered with Royal Valet to secure additional parking capacity and ensure a high level of service. Parking will be available 7 days a week from 6am-11pm.
Below are the rates that will be applied and more details will be shared soon.

The parking changes would affect my families club usage and how much I come to Offsite. Membership clubs are built off of membership perks and easy access to utilize facilities and services. Hours are already inconsistent on when the club closes, to pay for parking and to have to leave would be even more inconvenient.
Short-sighted plan. Needs to be reworked even if it just ends up being free for under 2 hours. If over, then charge accordingly. Deal with repeat abusers one-on-one. Don't penalize everyone. My 2 cents.
My membership was sold to me with the benefit of free 2hour parking. I completely disagree with the proposed changes, and find it insulting to our intelligence to state it was a decision prompted by the members. This feels like price gouging.
Fitler took away pick up service, drop off service takes forever because they never add a second car, 30 under 30 Tuesdays menu, and now parking. At the same time, their members are growing in numbers, work space is getting crowded (which is fine cause space is limited), drop off service takes forever, and yet they cant sustain all the above? Im dead…
For guest that don’t live within the radius where the fitler car will pick us up, the option of having accessible “free” parking is paramount for us to use our membership. Please don’t create a barrier to members coming.
Parking is only a drop in the bucket, New Management is taking advantage of a loyal member base

As someone who lives in Jersey now and already spends $5 multiple times per week to use the gym, I will likely have to reconsider my membership if I have to pay $13 for parking. I cannot justify spending almost $20 per day on top of membership dues. I love the Fitler Club and would be very sad to leave but I don’t know that I could justify the cost any more.
